The latest at Abiding Faith Ministry

ABIDING FAITH FAMILY and FRIENDS

We are now open to the public for weekly service. As you enter the building you will have to be able to answer “NO” to all these questions from the wellness survey:

* Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14-days?

* Are you sick now, or have you experienced any of the following    symptoms in the past 48 hours:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

* Have you been in contact with anyone currently believed to be infected?

* Have you traveled outside of the US in the last 14-days?

You will also be required to provide us with contact information in the event of an outbreak.

You must have your temperature taken and sanitize your hands.  No one can enter without a mask.  Masks must be worn throughout the service.  Families must sit together.  And we must all adhere to the 6 feet social distancing rule.

We are required to sanitize the building after every service.  Therefore, when the service is over, we must promptly leave the building so that the necessary step to clean the church can be attended to.

To keep down the spread of the virus we must avoid physical contact with one another.  Let us remember that fellowship will be different, but we will continue to praise and worship our Lord as He so richly deserves.  Let us be careful not to fall back into our old habits and be considerate of one another.  We are our brother’s keeper and we certainly want to keep everyone safe as we resume our worship experience in the Lord’s house.

This virus has seriously impacted those over 65 years of age placing them in the “vulnerable group.”  Included in this vulnerable group are those with pre-existing conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, asthma, those with compromised immune systems due to certain medical conditions, medications, and cancer treatments.

We will continue to stream our Sunday morning services on Facebook live. We want to encourage our friends and family members that fall in the vulnerable group to remain ‘virtual’ congregants for the foreseeable future.  Of course, the decision is entirely up to you.  Please understand the risk of attendance should you choose to attend.  Again, to remain safe, we must maintain the guidelines that the CDC requires. This virus is still very active. Therefore, if you are experiencing any kind of sickness, we encourage you to stay home and stay safe.

Abiding Faith Ministry reserves the right to deny admittance to anyone who refuses to follow the established guidelines; does not allow a temperature scan, refuse to wear a mask, refuse to maintain safe distancing, or refuse to provide the contact information needed in the event someone becomes sick after a church-sponsored meeting or event.

It is our goal to establish and maintain a safe environment for us to worship in.

Stay save, Wear your masks, and maintain social distance.
